Every Child Ready to Read!

Fridays, 10:30-11:30am, October 2, 9, 16, 23, 30 and November 6

Every Child Ready to Read Family Workshops is a program that involves young children (ages birth to 6) and their parents/caregivers in learning the early literacy skills that help to prepare children for reading success in school.

Each week, for six weeks, a different early literacy skill will be highlighted during a 45-minute workshop.  Parents will:

- Have a chance to practice the skill with their child.

- Take home a book to keep and read with their child.

· Learn fun interactive activities and practical tips to use at home.

By the end of the six-week session, each family will have received the six books listed below, a book bag, other story time materials, and great information to help prepare their children for school!

Llama Llama Red Pajama, The Very Hungry Caterpillar, What Do You Do With a Tail Like This?, Good Night Gorilla, Chicka Chicka Boom Boom, If You Give a Mouse a Cookie
